I got a dumb question. I have a Sony external DRX-500UL DVD writer. On the back it has a USB2.0 connector and 2 Firewire ports. It is connected to my computer with USB but was wondering why the 2 firewire ports. I know I can connect to PC with either usb or firewire but what is the second firewire port for? Is this a pass through for a camera kinda like an external firewire card. I connect my cammera directly to PC's firewire but would I be able have one cable from PC to drive and another from drive to camera. At the moment I have only one firewire cable that came with the drive or I would test it myself. Sony has no mention of this second port in the manual and a search turned up nothing.
