What is the best, and most reliable media for burning ps2 games. I am going to buy a dvd burner soon and don't want to get crappy media with it when I do.

I use these http://www.shop4tech.com/item2422.html and have never had a problem with them. Plus they are cheap. Give them a try. I am so glad I did.

Buy Ritek G04 Thry are the best discs out at the moment and they will be 100% compatible no matter what speed you burn it at! I burned a dvd princo brand at 4x and ps2 had a very hard time reading the disc. i burned the G04 with patched firmware at 8x and my ps2 reads them like a dream. you cant go wrong with them in aything

Definately Ritek G04's, I have tried quite a few different ones and wasted money on them as they were crap, use the Riteks and you won't go far wrong.

I am having terrible luck with the riteks ... I dont understand it ! It could be a bad batch, Unfortunately I have 100 of them !!!!

Could it be the Sony External DVD-+ Writer that is giving me the problem ?

Good thread regarding the proper procedures for burning and backing up your PS2 games.

What version ps2 do you have and what type of media are you using (+r or -r). Version 1-3 can't read +r and some version 4's aswell.
