Hi guys sorry to be a pain but all this is new to me. i have a swap magic chipped ps2 but it wont seem to play any backups i burn. does it make a differance if im using dvd+ discs or do i need to use dvd-r?

DVD-R I believe works more consistently. I have never had a game that wouldn't play and I use DVD-R.

ps2 versions 1-3 can't read dvd+r, some versions can and some can't, v5+ read both dvd+/-r
