Well I've never had any problems with my Swap Magic 2 discs until now. I recently burned Hitman:Contracts and I found out that I needed to use CD or DVD Loader. I tried both, and had no luck with either. With DVD Loader, I downloaded dvdloaderv7all, used WinRAR to extract the file, and then I used DVD Decrypter to burn the .iso onto a imation DVD-R. The imation DVD-R's work for all my games, so it shouldn't be the discs. I don't think that I am burning incorrectly. To load the disc I: Insert my swap magic DVD disc, and wait for the Insert Disc screen. Then I use my slide card, and switch thhe disc for the DVD Loader disc I just burned. When I hit X, I can hear the disc trying to read very loudly, and then after 3-5 seconds I get the red border. Same thing with CD Loader(Yes, I loaded CD Loader with the Swap Magic CD version). I don't know what to do, so does anyone know how to help me?

seems like you got a bad burn of the iso of dvd loader if you have Nero try using that to burn your iso,also burn it at the slowest speed you can as burning cd/dvd loader at high speeds is known to cause problems for some pepole

I tried burning it in Nero at 1X, and I still get the same results. I have no clue what the hell the problem is, but it's making me mad. I've never had any problems, and this one I can't get past... Does anyone know what the problem is? I'll try anything, just please help me!!!

what size is the image of dvd loader?
what size does it end up as on the dvdr disc?
what method did you use to burn dvd loader in nero?and the settings used
what versoin of nero are you using?

The ISO is 526 MB. On the disc it is 539,462 KB, or 526 MB. I used the DVD-ROM(ISO) option in Nero. My Nero version is 6.3.1.6. What do u think the problem is?

I re-downloaded the dvdloaderv7all file from ps2ownz.com, and RAR file is 503 KB (515,985 bytes). I open WinRAR and select the dvdloaderv7all.rar file from the list on the left, and hit the extract to button. When the extraction path and options box opens, the destination path is:C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\dvdloaderv7all. Update mode is set to:Extract and replace files. Overwrite mode is set at: Ask before overwrite. Nothing is selected under miscellaneous. Under the advanced tab, Set modification time is selected, and so is Set file security. I hit OK, and the extracting progress box comes up. When it's done, there is a file on my desktop with the dvdloaderv7all.iso in it.
The ISO is: 526 MB (552,409,088 bytes). I don't know why it isn't 503.9 KB. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help.

Actually that is the correct size for the iso file. Sorry about that I just checked it myself. So you do have the right dvdloader. DVD Decrypter should work fine for burning it, I use it myself. The only thing I can recomend is to try another brand. I have heard people mention that they use Imation DVD-R for their backups and they all work except for one game or so. Perhaps the dvdloader is just picky about what brand you use. Try Ritek, Fujifilm, or Memorex. It can't hurt.
