Can my ps2 play dvd+rw?

Hi i have a v9 pal ps2 with swap magic 3.0 and i would like to know if my ps2 can play dvd+rw back-up games as i have a hp100i dvd burner which only burns dvd+rw

your v9 ps2 should play dvd+rw discs but would not recomend them for game backups.my ps2 will play movies on dvdrw discs but game backups just wont work on the same discs.would suggest you try using dvd+r(single use not re-writable)discs
