i have a version 5/6 ps2 and i dont know wht the difference is btwn cd loader normal and cd loader v7 w/e its called and i was wondering if i could use the v7 cd loader version on my ps2 bcuz it has the options list for loading

I am not sure but I think that the v1-6 cdloader doesn't need an option list to boot games. Have you had any problems with v1-6 cdloader if? If so then it couldn't hurt to try the v7 but the v1-6 should work fine.

yup thats wht i thought...i dont have any games that need cdloader yet so if i do have problems ill ask yall on here thx

just use this method:

you dont really need a cdloader or dvdloader for games that need it...just use this method

1.enter SM CD
2.Eject enter a real big ps2 disc refresh toc
3.switch game with backup (fliptop or slide card) press square

works everytime for me
