Do you need anything to play backup dv-r's that you burn from Toast on your ps2?. Do you have to have a boot method or anything?

if your talking about ps2 game backups then you need to modify your ps2 with either a no swap internal solder mod chip or use a boot disc like swap magic in conjunction with the flip top/slide card/no solder mod or you could use a gameshark/action replay disc(must be correct version)with the flip/slide/no solder.
if your talking about movie backups then no modification is required to play dvdr backups
