I'd like to see Afterdawn to expand a tiny bit more :-) lol into the whole mobile phone area! There's a lot you can dow ith a phone like unlock it or download games etc etc clone your sim card even! I'd like to see a forum take off about mobile phones. I'm not the best at it all but I aint the worst either :-)

It just hits me, everyone has one so why not? :-) Maybe even a section where users can add in ringtones and stuff? I know its a whole different ballpark and a whole different game but shit, when did that ever stop aD before? lol

Mobile videos are something that we're bit crazy about with our aD staff, but unfortunately the equipment to play decent DivX clips tends to cost in excess of 1,000 euros in form of decent PDA + 1GB SD card + stuff which might mean that the interest is rather limited for that one... (HP iPaq 4150 is a decent entry-level PDA for those of you interested of playing 1000kbps+ DivX clips with your PDA)

But yes, mobile phones and mobile devices overall would be interesting area to expand, but I'd rather drop the hardware part of it for now and focus on software (everybody got Symbian/S60 phone already, right?) and audio/video capabilities of phones and PDAs.. I'll need to think about it, but something like "Encoding video for mobile phones" and "Encoding video for PDAs" areas would sound suitable in near future.

Hmmm, a site out of Finland that has a forum on cell phones. I can't imagine that. 8D

Actually I can see where this could be interesting, especially since cell phones are so much more than phones now, but I would think if it were created it should be more for cell phones and PDAs.

Esato is a good mobile site but they are Sony Ericcson obsessed!!

I think the idea for AD is good though - it need'nt be limited to video phone stuff though
