Okay, I've been searching this site and others for about three days now and still haven't found the answer. I've tried to make a copy of True Crime: Streets of LA using basically every software program out there except Primo Prassi but every time I try to make the copy (by doing an ISO>read to make an image) when I get to about 84% it gives me an illegal sector message or I/O error, etc. I am going crazy here. I've even tried it on a Mac using the disc utility to make an image and the same thing happens in about the same place. The game plays fine I've had it for about a month. What do you think it could be? Anyone? Like it was stated in another post I'm now obsessed with this game. Thanks for any and all help,

Ja-mez

if it happens at the same point every time the it's most likly that there's somthing wrong with the source disc check it for fingerprints scratches etc, give it a good clean,if all else fails then it could be a manufacturing fault in the disc

Thanks for the reply. That's gotta be what it is, it's making me crazy though. I've cleaned it really well various times but to no avail. Oh well, any other opinions? Thanks again

the only thing i can sugest(as it seems you have tried many things already)is to use your dvd writer as the reader(if you havent tried already)and set it on the min read speed as sometimes writers will read discs other drives wont

Hey guys thanks for all the help. I just decided to go rent it (it was weird renting a game I own) just to see if it was the disc and it was. The DVD Decrypter worked like a charm. Thanks for the feedback.
