i use dvd decryptor to back up my ps2 games. i use the same dvd-r x 4 media every time and every time all the backups worked untill i tried ratchet and clank. i have the swap 2.0 magic disc, and when it tells you t insert disc i do (rat and clank), i then get a blue border which means a good burn, correct?. then it stays froze on that. so far this is the only backup that has not worked. can anybody tell me why? is there a web site to check which games will back up and which will not? your help is greatly appreciated.

http://www.swapmagicfix.com will tell you which games need an additional bootdisc (cd loader), which is available for free download on that site.

figured it out, thanks for all the help. by the way one dumb question. how do i know what version of ps2 i have i think mine is 7 but i need a conformation
