Hi, I am totally new to the DVD and i am struggling copying bumfights 2 to dvd, basically whenever the film gets 21 mins in the video freezes but the sound continued. It works fine from the original AVI file

With what software did you encode ..?

And did you split audio + video to encode also ??

I used Nero Showtime, i have got DVDlab and TMPGEnc but even after reading the tutorials and posts here they still seem a bit complicated!

Try MainConcept MPEG Encoder then maybe as you can easily encode without the need to creat two seperate files...

I do NOT trust Nero as an encoder , even though I use Nero 6 package for a lot of things.
