Wasn't sure where to post this, so I apologize if thisis in the wrong forum.

here goes...I bought a Pioneer A05 burner, and put it in an external case (ADS PYRO IEEE 1394). Now, the drives reads fine when I connect it, but it is read as "removable hardware", not as a DVD drive. Here is the predicament, I also have an XP machine with the same drive installed (Pioneer A05), and when I plug in my external drive to this machine it recongnizes it as a DVD drive. I know it is a driver related issue, so what I did was I copied all the drivers that run the external and put them in the appropriate folder on the Win 2000 machine, however it is still reading as "removable hardware". I stumped an was hoping someone might have some suggestions.

Thanks in advanced
