Hello Forum,

Is it possible to burn a copy of Swap Magic? I tried to copy both my Swap Magic 2.0 and 3.0 using every method known to man,and neither will boot. I just want to copy the originals and put the originals away for safe keeping the way I do with all my CD's. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance.

you can't creat a self booting copy of the swapmagic discs just like you cant create a self booting backup of your games.Your swap magic discs are pressed(not burnt)with the boot code so they load your backup games,if you could create a self booting backup of swapmagic then you could create a self booting backup of your games and you would not need swapmagic. To boot a backup of swapmagic you would need to use either your orignal swapmagic discs a gameshark/action replay or a no swap mod chip

DAMN andyfrank, Take it easy man- This guy/girl is probably new to this whole world of backing up shit!

wayja asked a question that was probably answerd alot, but still asked a direct question without trying to guess what they were trying to getting at, and it was answerd with RESPECT.

So show some respect to the new people like you want to be respected.

Thanks Devilhunt for your non condescending reply. Thanks Geestar for your support of my Nooby question. Andyfrank, your post was a little harsh. I tried everything I knew to find an answer on my own. I came to this forum for its expertise and patience. I have a friend who said he downloaded an ISO for Kazaa or somewhere and it ran. When I could not do that with my original copy, I came here looking for the truth. Thanks again all for a great forum and all your assistance.
