i am trying to burn a swap magic fix for sonic heroes and end up with coasters.can someone talk me through it eg: what programme to use, file format, and step by step instructions. new to ps2 game but my kid is driving me up the wall. please help

go to swapmagicfic.com then go up to "fix burning help" it'll give you instuctions on how to burn a cdloader and what software to use to burn it. also can you give you give your threads a name relevant to what you want help with.

thanx for the reply.sorry i am not online for long periods but i am disabled and cant use the computer for long periods.no i have tried using the instructions there but ended up wasting yet more discs.i can follow upto burning the cue.file,but my file looks different from the guide version, i dont know how to get into the cue.file to read beta5 etc. i must be doing something wrong somewhere, i have also tried burning onto cdr and dvdr.any more help we use ps2 ver9 with slide card and swap magic3.thanx

the version 9 PS2 needs a DVD loader you can get one from here http://www.ps2ownz.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11133.g
but you need to be a member but if your not PM me and give me your e-mail address i can e-mail it to you. once you've got it download winrar. and dvd decrypter then follow these instructions, unpack the file using winrar, then go to where you unpacked it to (default is your desktop)then open DVD decrypter change it's mode to ISO. write, then click the little file icon then chose the DVD loader (the DVD loader icon won't be the usual DVD decrypter icon it will be the winrar icon)once you have clicked the DVD loader change the burn speed to the slowest you can go (less risk of bad burn)then click the picture of a Hardrive then a arrow to a disk this will start to burn your DVD loader. hope this helps

do use DVD Decrypter for burning ps2 backups like burnig the image

you can use any burning software like Nero and alcohol 120% i perfer DVD Decrypter but there all the same
