When I bought my 1300A I also bought some generic dvd+r's from the same place, but they wouldn't burn at all. I understand a lot of people had the same trouble with that generic brand not working. Since then I have stuck with Maxell or Memorex dvd+r's, and they burn great (only one failure, and it was at full capacity, and didn't finalize).

I'd like to buy a box of eWorks dvd+r's, as FutureShop has them on sale at 9.99 for a box of 10, but I don't want to risk buying something that won't burn. Has anyone tried this brand in the 1300A, or does anyone know of a list of proven compatible brands?

I believe I am using the 1.08 firmware.

Gidday,I've got the 1300 as well and i've found this site to quite helpful with witch medias to use and not to use plus new firmware and hacked ware http://www.herrie.org/
