Hey Guys,
Got a PS2 with a Magic 3 soddered on. Am buying a Pioneer 107D Dual Format DVD burner and have bought Ritek Grade-A G04 DVD-Rs. I will be using either Nero 6 or DVD-Decrypter to burn games (at 1x). Tell me straight up my chances of my PS2 game back-ups working.
BTW, my ps2 is a version 1 and I have NEVER had any problems with it. Am I on the right track?

you have got a modded ps2 a good dvd writer,the ritek dvd-r discs work well in ps2's and dvd decrypter using iso read/write mode works well also the only problem you have is the age of your ps2 but you say it works well so my best guess you have a 99% chance of creating a working backup with what you have got

Thanks for the input Devilhunt. I went through all the forums and finally came up with the Pioneer 107D burner and the Riteks as being the best DVD Burner and media respectively. Hopefully, this'll help me keep my PS2 games survive through the hurricane I call my son ;)
