Convert 50hz PAL to 60hz NTSC

I made a backup of my Gran Turismo 4: Prologue Edition in hopes to find a way to pactch the game to perform at 60hz PAL or NTSC(it doesn't matter)I found a program called NTSCONV but it didn't work as I planned all it did was change the resolution(i think) to NTSC but I'm looking for a Hz converter or some type of gameshark code to change it. BTW I have a Magic 3.1 v4 NoGap PS2.

OMG Hanedrick you are my savior but I'm not too sure about how to set the Y-FIX OFFSET. But OMG you're the best(Been searching for good PAL->ntsc prog for 5 days)

Okay, Hanedrick. I've finally tested the program you gave me but when the screen pops up I select the NTSC or NTSC Y-FIX. After that the first screen was working properly(It was just the legal stuff) but when it came to the second screen(Sony Company Entertainment Europe presents) it turned back to PAL 50Hz

None of the current ways of patching a PAL to NTSC game work, as far as programs are concerned. I've used ADK Patcher, jayteemaster's program, and ntsconv, and none of them work beyond the start up screen.

The reason for this seems to be that Gran Turismo has an intial ELF (the file which sets video mode) that gets edited by the programs. This is all well and good except for the fact that after the game loads that initial ELF file (the copyright screen or whatever it was) it then extracts the REAL ELF file, which is still in it's PAL state. If anyone can help me find a tutorial on ELF extracting and patching I'll get it a shot. Anyway, sorry I couldn't help more than this.

Hey alphabet I've found another patcher called adrenaline patcher v.5. From what I've heard I should work. But i'll come back with the test results later when I test it. Sry haven't found a link for it yet

Sadly, it won't work either.

I've tried several versions of every automatic converter I could find.

If you manage to get it to work, let me know. I've burnt about four coasters because of things not converting properly.

From my understanding the GT series is coded differently just for this reason to stop conversions. Each game that needs conversion has to be written for that specific game. A universal patcher won't work. I've been trying for more than 2 years to find one for a version of GT3 (Pal Euro) that has some additional tracks and cars that was not released in the US.
