Is Universal BUSlink Model: DVRW812D DVD recorder good? For those of you who have this dvd recorder do you have any problem backuping up PS2 games with it? Have you guys heard anything bad about it?

I'm interested in this dvd recorder because it is cheap and it has lower CPU requirement. I have a Pentium 3 733 MHz CPU and a lot of the newer dvd recorder requires 800+ MHz CPU. If I get a newer dvd recorder like Sony's DRU-700A, which require 800 MHz CPU, will it not run at all or run with some problem on my old 733 MHz computer? Which dvd recorder would you guys suggest me to get for my 733 MHz computer. Thanks.

my apologies if i have got your question completly wrong but are you talking about an external dvd writer that conects to the usb port if so most of these writers require the use of a usb 2.0 complient port to be able to sustain an the data transfer rate needed to write to the the discs without suffering buffer under runs does your older pc have usb 2.0 support and not just usb 1.1

My PC is really old and it only has USB ports. The USB ports don't even come with number so I assume it is just USB 1. I'm planning on getting a cheap internal EIDE dvd recorder that can back up my PS2 games nicely and requires low CPU (below 733 MHz). Thanks.
