I have a PC. I have a 8x Digital Research dvd+-r drive. I use DVD Shrink then burn the decrypted shruk file with Copy to DVD. I never have a problem with the whole process but when I put the final burned DVD in my player it wont play. I have upgraded from a 4x to 8x same make. now with the 8x it wont play. I still burn at 4x and I use the same discs. What the hell??

Oh the other thing is I have a G5 MAC at work and I use DVD Backup then DVD2oneX then Toast 6 to burn and the whole process goes well and the discs play flawlessly? Same discs and all!!!!

Is it the software on my PC that is the problem or is it my burner??
I know its not the compatability of the discs with my player so it has to be either my software or my burner.

On top of all of this I have use a BusLink burner and the same results we had!! AHHHHHHHHHH

You can go to www.dvdrhelp.com and check for compatability on writers and players, also has info on media for specific drives.
Try a better brand of media, Like Branded Verbatum or Ritek G04
