i made a backup of manhunt, burning at 2x on verbatim media which never gave me problems b4. used nero6 and im using cogswapper on the memory card to boot. used mgs2/ffx/gta:vc as the bootup disc's and it still stalls wehn i collect the tape on/after the sixth level. ive a v3 ps2 and didnt have this prob b4. i made another backup at 1x and it still stalled. anyone else have this problem?

I have heard of Verbatim giving problems even though it generally works. You might want to try a brand like Ritek or Fujifilm.

i've had this problem when i used to boot up with mgs2 then i used gta:vc and problem was solved altough later on in the level where u have to kill gonzales it freezed as well and after many retries i managed to do it in a way that it did not freeze..
passed it all brilliant game!

Manhunt use to stall for me after 6th level but when i started usin this method:

1.enter SM CD
2.Eject enter a real big ps2 disc refresh toc
3.switch game with backup (fliptop or slide card) press square

works everytime.
