i've got a problem with x2, the game will start (square enix logo) but after i try to select new game the screen will freeze when the opening cinema is suppose to start, anyone else have this problem or a solution... i've tried using ffx as a toc disc with dvd and cdloaders but neither worked, i'm using smd 2 with a fliptop thanx

its a brand called teon (bought 'em at Staples) they've worked for other games (15 others)

i burned them all at x's 1, with DVD Decrypter as the burning tool, i used alchol 120% to get the info though... could it have to do with the toc???

smd 2.0 and cd/dvd loaders both of them, and final fantasy x for the toc

i've got a perfect backup of FFX2, i don't use a toc. having you tried just loading it without a toc? also is ffx the largest game you have?

if i just load the game it freezes after you start the game... i've tried tony hawk underground which is bigger than ffx but keep getting "error validating disc" error

honestly i have no idea why this game isn't working. the only thing i could think you could try is burn it agian using a different brand, use DVD Decrypter to get the ISO and to burn @ X'1 also use DVD-R. what version PS2 do you have

how big is the ISO of the game? because if it was larger than 4.7gb, how would i go about making a backup when i get?
