Does anyone know a REALIABLE place to order replacement swapmagic discs from? I mistakenly tried modchip.com and they stiffed me. The billed me on the 19th and I never received the discs or any return to my e-mails.
Thanks,
Randy

The US...
For those of you that need chips or discs
modchip.com = scam (avoid at all costs). I finally
starting sending my messages to them with return
receipt and noticed they read my messages asking
where my money/product was but did not reply.
oh well thank god for CC chargebacks ;-)

I don't know about usa, but here in europe, modchip.com works fine, I ordered 4 times already ,and always received my stuff
accually, my first order was a pnp-key, it broke down 3 months later, after just one email they shipped a new one free of charge(without even asked to return the broken one!-)

well my swap magic discs came in the mail today 6/6 from switzerland. Guess the local shop just collects the money and forwards your info overseas for shipping. regardless they finally arrived. so if anyone uses modchip.com be patient it just takes several weeks for the product to arrive.

Hey everyone, Don't get your disks from modchip.com. I run http://www.swapnslide.com and they wouldn't even link to me because My stuff is so much cheaper that thiers. I have swap magic disks for $22.00 Free shipping from the U.S. usually takes 3 days to arrive. Swap magic disks with slide card $24, And flip top covers for $30 ($45 for the fliptop combo) I have the newest v3 disks or as some like to call them v3.2.
google search "swapmagic disks"

well, modchip.com and mod-chip.com are somewhat identical. their checkout form is exactly the same. They are even on the same domain servers. So to me, they are one and the same
here is a link for reviews for modchip.com:
http://www.resellerratings.com/seller4212.html ...as you can see not good...scam! avoid them!
I am currently shopping for a modchip but am skeptical of all the websites out there. They all seem a bit too shady....fly-by-night operations.
Based on reviews at resellerratings.com, modchip.ca would be the best place, but their prices aren't so low. ModchipStore.com has better prices, but only 2 reviews on that website. I'd also consider Modchipworld.com and Console24.com but can't seem to find any feedback that would ease my worries.

Well, they are selling the Swap Magic Discs for $19.49 (free shipping), not $10. Ten bucks for SM discs would a steal.

Still, I still believe that modchip.com does a decent job.
Yes ,they stuff comes from Austria, I live in Europe so that is an advantage to me.
And yes you have to keep mailing sometimes to get answers( I believe those guys aren't online all the time), it even takes some time for your money to get collected
A month ago I ordered swapdiscs+pnpkey for my brother in law, it arrived within 7 days, but to my horror they send usa discs in stead of pal
I had to mail for about 10 days ,but then they mailed me back saying they were sorry for the mistake and they would send me the replacement discs right away
2 days later I received the new discs (throught ups),and they didn't ask for the wrong discs to send back
So it may be a slow service ;but it's a fair one...
btw, I have no connection with those guys, it's just my experience with them, don't know how other sites work either
