I have been trying to make a backup of Return Of The King for weeks, with no success. I have tried Nero and DVD Decrypter. I have read at 1X and burned at 1X using DVD Decrypter. I tried cleaning the orginal disc and re-rip and burn, no luck!

I am using a SwapMagic 2.0 DVD to boot my PS2 then when I swap to the ROTR backup,... when the THX screen comes up the audio cuts in and out, skips, and the cut scenes will not load, then, when I start a new game from the main menu the "Loading..." box flashes during gameplay. It is very annoying!

I burn backups all the time and this is the only one I have ever had trouble with. This is the setup I have always used and have been successful before with other titles:

SONY DVD RW DRU-510A (1.0d firmware)
Ritek G04 4X DVD-R media
DVD Decrypter 1x Read / 1x Write
SwapMagic 2.0 DVD / 3.0 CDROM
Version 7 PS2 w/fliptop

Has anyone experienced this same problem with ROTK and resolved it somehow?
