Hello,
Does anyone know if you can play the imported game Suikoden 3 using a swap magic version 3.0 disk? I've heard that some games you just can't play even with swap magic. So anyone know if this is one of those games?

if swap magic doesnt work, on www.swapmagicfix.com you can get the cd loader they have and all the games that dont work on sm3 will work just fine......its easy to use, load sm3, swap with cd loader, insert your sm disc again, and then swap to burnt game....viola!!

Hello,
Yeah thanks for that. I finally got it explained to me how to do all that, and now I'm finally playing game! yay! By the way do you know if the cd loader I downloaded will work for any other game that doesn't work or do you need a seperate one for each game?

That one CD LOADER disc you made should work for all the games on the swap magic disc fix page that are listed. Depending on the version of your system there is two different types of CD LOADERS. I know Sonic Heroes requires a dummy file to be added to the image but other than that that one disc should work for all the other games listed(non DVD9 games).

Late reply, but here it goes anyway.
I recently ordered Tekken 3 from the US.
I have a PAL playstation and my tv can't play NTSC either so here's what I did.
First made an ISO of it, then patched it with some program that switched video mode from NTSC to PAL and put in a Y-fix to center it.
After that the game still won't work with just the Swap Magic 2.0 DVD version, so I use the DVDloader as well and then it works

Hi,
I'm having the same problem with suikoden 3 and would appreciate any help. I have the Swap Magic 3.0 disc and im following the instructions for the cd loader but the game still isnt running. I have a PS2 SCPH-50001. Im putting in the 3.0 disc the screen comes up i swap with the cd loader press x but nothing happens.

ok, here are the steps for CD loader:
1. Put in swap magic CD disc and wait for it to boot to the swap screen.
2. Swap the swap magic CD disc for the CD loader disc and press x.
3. Once the CD loader screen appears, press eject on your console and put in swap magic DVD disc(Do not do the swap technique for this step!). Wait for the CD loader screen to say PS2 DVD disc on the bottom left corner.
4. Press X and wait for the CD loader screen to change until it says swap disc using the EA method. It should be a red screen of somesort.
5. Now do the swap trick with your suikoden III DVD game and press X. Your game should boot up and play fine.

Ok...
this all works until i use the swap trick to change to my suikoden III dvd game, then the screen just goes and stays black.. but it flashs a green screen just before it goes black.
Also, my CDloader is in a different language.. this normal? And it has NTSC and English in the top right and top left hand corner, do i need to select any of these before i change disc??
and do i use CDloader or CDloader v7 ALL ?

It is normal for your cd loader to be in a different language. I run a NTSC system and my cd loader is in spanish. Those steps I mentioned are correct. Once it boots wait like 30 seconds or so and it should boot. Just be a little patient. you might have to use different media.

spiker if your using the v7all version of cd loader you need to select the beta 3 option from the cd loader submenu to get suikoden to boot
