I installed the flip top successfully, burned a couple games successfully but cannot get them to load. I used DVD Decrpyter ISO read/write- it doesn't work, I also ripped w/ Decrypter and burned w/ another software and it still doesn't work. I use TDK DVD+R 4x. Also I have to put 3 pounds of weight on top of the flip top or it will make a loud grinding noise and it will not read discs. Please help. Thank you.

did u put the white magnet disc in the right way? When I first put mine I put it in upside down. that might be the grinding noise u hear.

what version ps2 do you have? Are you sure it can read +r discs?

I tried the white piece both ways and I have it in the correct way but still makes the noise. I have a version 7 PS2. It reads movie DVD+R and DVD-R's just fine.
