Hey,
Just wondering about backing up dvd games for my ps2,
i am using swap magic dvd v3
I am using a nec 1300a Dvd writer which is + and - capable.
I have herries 108v2 booktype firmware.
Is it possible to back up a ps2 game to dvd-rw? i Have games working on dvd-r and dvd+r.
Is there a way to make dvd-rw work on ps2/ change their booktype to Dvd-rom so that they will be read that way?,
jsut thought id ask, where do you guys buy you dvd-r or dvd+r disks from , i buy mine from www.novatech.co.uk which comes to 28p per disc is there somewhere cheaper? (for bulktek dvd+r)

cheers
Muncey

unless your ps2 is v9 or v10, RW will not work (some v9 and v10 cant read RW either).

V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader
Pioneer 107, ritek g05
DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, Nero

I forget which one, but mine is an early model that isn't even supposed to be able to read +Rs (Got it when Final Fantasy X came out). But mine reads -RW's fine.
