Hello to my fellow DVDR75 owners! Has anyone else experienced the live tv signal being scrambled/frozen/fragmented looking upon turning the unit on but with sound? If I turn the unit on and off 5 or 6 times it stops and I can watch my cable. It works great until the next time I turn it on and it's scrambled/frozen again . It came with firmware version FF13K. Is it time to return to Best Buy and try another one? Thanks for any help or opinions you can offer---atarijohn

If it is just watching a regular analog cable signal, I'd say the analog to digital converter is toast. I've seen it happen when converting a VHS tape, but it was a problem on the tape.
