Sound Blaster Live 5.1

I bought a Sound Blaster Live 5.1 and put it in and installed it, everything worked fine, I set it to 5.1 surround sound. When i plug my surround sound(Creative forget what model)into it though it only places sound from the left and right speakers. Ive played music,dvds,games,ect any nothing plays out of any different speakers at any times. Im using a HP Pavillion A282N.

Anyone have any ideas or answers?
