Silent Hill 3 problem

Hi guys. I am new but believe me, I've read everything. I know Silent Hill 3 is double protected. I backed up Silent Hill 3 on 3 types of media. Tried using Swap Magic to no avail. I seen that it needs to have another disc swapped as well. I tried doing everything the tuts have told me. I know it's not the burn, since I have used 3 types of media. When I try to load the cdloader v7 beta 3 or higher from the Swap Magic 3 disc, it just hangs up. And I missing something other then this? Thanks!
1 - Boot to Swap Magic cd
2 - Swap out to Cdloader or cogswapper
3 - Load program <~~~~~~ nothing happens here
4 - Hit eject and swap in Swap Magic DVD
5 - Then the backup
I have a v10 or v9 box.

so what your saying is cdloader does not load when you swap it by slide/flip and press x after booting swapmagic cd,am i correct

Yes sir, that is correct. I have burned it a few times using tdk and maxell cd-r's. I hit load program and the cd spins, but then I get a red/blue border blinking and nothing else.

what program did you use to burn cd loader?what speed did you burn it at? was it the bin/cue or iso version?

Nero 24X and it was a bin/cue :)

ok maybe your answer is the fact that you burnt it at 24x as cdloader need to be burnt slow would suggest you try re-burning at 4x using the burn image option and loading the cue file

Just tried 4x using Nero on both tdk and fuji cd-r's, and still have the red and blue rolling border on the sm cd version 3 screen. This is strange. I am also trying to use cdloader v7 beta 5.3 as well.

some people have complained about problems getting cdloader v5.2 to load on v9/10 ps2 would suggest you try v7all from http:www.swapmagicfix.com

Burned v7 all @ 4x on Nero, and still nothing. Let me explain again, I might be screwing up. Boot Swap Magic cd 3 version 3.2 to the load program screen. I then use the slide card to get the disc out, swap it with the cdloader v7 all and it hangs (red and blue border and cd stops spinning) This stinks!

it appears you are loading it the correct way by loading swap magic cd swap for cdloader by slide card and pressing x if you private me your e-mail adress i will send you an iso version of cdloader v7all that should work as i have used it

The DVDLoader did the trick! Thanks Devil! I guess my ps2 doesn't like the cd-r's I burned... but now I don't need it. Thanks so very much!
