please read whole thing before answering too many time people answer question that I didn't ask thanks just try to get it to work on the ver 4 ps2.
Ok I back up Onimusha 3 on the ver 7 with no solder mod, Swap Magic 2.0 with cd loader beat 5.1. How ever I can't get it to boot on the ver 4 using no solder with swap magic cd 3.0 to load cd loader tryed both beta 5.1 and cd loader for ver 1-6. Looks like the swap magic 3.0 is not as good as the 2.0. I've also tryed to loading it with swap magic cd 3.0 the insert devil may cry for the toc. then swap magic dvd 2.0. still noting any ideals thanks for any help
I have a version 1 ps2 and its so old its ancient. I got it when ps2 was first released in North America and i use a Flip Top with Swap Magic 2.0 dvd loader and it works fine for me. I used DVD Decrypter to burn it onto a dvd-r(dont know what brand).
I also have a V4 no solder with swap magic discs. To boot Onimusha 3, you need to insert swap magic CD disc, then boot up CD Loader disc, then put in Swap Magic DVD disc. Wait for the screen to say ps2 DVD then press X. When it says to do the EA swap method go ahead and do it by putting in your Onimusha 3 backup. The game should boot now.
