PS2 DVD Backups using LG DVDRAM GSA 404B

Another Newblood looking for a solution.
I have version 3 PS2 and I'm trying to backup Pro evo soccer 3. I've tried Nero v6.3.02 and DVD Decrypter, no joy.
My PS2 uses the Action replay disc swapping technique to play backed up games, I've tried datawrite DVD-R and DVD+R DVD media. I still have the original .iso backup on my hard drive. Can anyone help me?

from what i hear gameshark and ar are not very reliable at booting games espcecially dvds. I use a flip top with Swap Magic and everything works great
