I am looking to purchase a PS2+ which is premodded with either a DMS3 v9, Matrix Infinity, or Messiah 2 Pro mod chip. Which of the three has the best options and which is most reliable? I have read about all three but can't seem to figure out which one is the best.

Which program is the best for making backups of PS2 games? Does DVD Decrypter ISO Read and ISO Write work well? Please suggest another program if you know of one that makes high quality backups of PS2 games and that works well with one of the three above mod chips.

the dms3 is probably the best mod chip on the market if you require all its features followed closly by the matrix infinity then the messiah 2 pro all the above chips will load your backups well but the first 2 have extra features(if you need them and also cost more).now for software DVD Decrypter works well but you could also use record now(my personal favourite)or Nero 6 or basicly any software capable of creating dvd images

in my opinion, matrix is better then the dms3, the only thing thats not better, is if you dont have a v 9/10 the antimod ps1 games dont work, bummmerrrrrrr.
they are both flash upgradable, but the matrix has extra fetures you might like :) macrovision off(i dont belive any chip is capable of this:)) (macravision prevents you from watching a dvd if your dvd player is plugged in through your vcr, the only other way around this is copying your dvd)


id say, (i hate to advertise but these people are great:D) www.norcalmods.com you can get a premod v9/10 with atv offroad and a network adaptor, for $275
including shipping:D that my friend is a very good deal, they will mod your ps2 with any chip you give them for 50 dollars, that includes return shipping.
