I had made up a backup of my thug and it stopped working for some odd reason. I then put my original copy in the ps2 and it no longer works, so I broke down and rented the game I already have, and that won't work. I have the flip top and the no solder v7. Can anyone help me

I am assuming you didn't copy the game you rented... Try cleaning your lens with a q-tip and some rubbing alcohol.
