Hey guys I figured that I am new to this board so I
wanted to feel the place out and see what kind of
music you guys are into....give you a heads up about
me and skullkin and also help out a few local bands on
here who might not know about some promotion sites
that are good to use on the net.
I am 26, a soldier in baghdad Iraq for now, july 10th
I go to kuwait to leave here finally and I have been
in county for 14 months now. Back home I go to college
for recording industry at middle tennessee state
university and jam bass for the horror band skullkin.
I am REALLY into metal of all types ad forms and am
always on the look out for some up and coming bands
with drive to come to open for skullkin in nashville
area where skullkin resides. My fav bands are
metallica,slayer,megadeth,pantera,opeth,white zombie,
anthrax, misfits, sabbath,sepultura and last but not
least nirvana. I am a HUGE fan of HORROR movies,
actaully 90% of the music that we play is based around
gore films, serial killers and just some out there
type shit.
I began playin bass when I was 18, didnt take the shit
serious though until I was 23. Anyways that is me in
a nut shell.
Skullkin is a band that is way in left field if you
will....wearing corpse paint and blood, stage filled
with skulls and halloween themes year round, it is
almost like watching a horror movie....only at one of
our shows the audience isnt safe. The shows are always
intense, always violent and at shows people break
ribs, loose teeth, gt hit in the nuts so hard they
puke and knock over our mics and shit. The audiece is
so loud sometimes that they over power the damn PA
system. We play in front of anywhere from 50 people to
400 depending on the night. Halloween time is our best
time for gigs, sellin out any venue that we have
played at. We have a tour bus and are ready to hit the
road this fall and head out all over the u.s. to
spread our HORROR METAL seeds. If this shit should

A&R online is a good way to get labels to hear your
music and offer you advice on what labels are lookin
for which acts, plus free advice on how to get your
music to the masses!

other fellow underground bands. I am just all about
music and helping out the scene in every town that I
