Backing up cd based games on dvd for swap magic

With the diffrence in prices of cd and dvd media can cd based games be burnt to dvd for booting by swap magic v2.0

ie. Virtua Tennis 2 is on cd. Copy it with nero as a cd image. Then open the image but burn as a dvd image.

Then boot using the swap magic dvd disk. Does this work
anyone know??????

so instead of burning on cheaper cd media, you want to use more expensive dvd media? Secondly, no that method will not work, you have to edit the game so the laser knows it is reading a dvd, not a cd.
