Hello...I want to hook up a External TDK-880n/8x to my Medion desk-top. What are the do's/dont's? I use Shrink/Nero Ultra/X-copy(plat). What is the "BEST" hook-up, USB 2.0 or Firewire 1EEE (1394) Thanks!!

Firewire 1EEE (1394) is great for external drives.

If you want a reliable assesment on the performance of this TDK-880n DVD drive , take a look at the complete test done at CDR-Info labs.
