Swap magic doesn't work for me..

I follow the instructions for booting up swap magic exactly like it says, but the loading screen never appears, with swap magic 2 or 3...It just starts clicking and then stops, and with 3 it tells me to load a PS2 format disc...Help?

this may seem silly but do you have the correct swapmagic discs for your ps2 as there are 3 different types of disc NTSC usa,NTSC jap and PAL for europe it has been known for a company to send the wrong discs out it also has been known to get a bad swapmagic disc if you have just got them contact your supplier and see if they will swap them for you
