dvd loader not working

I have downloaded the dvdloaderv7_b52 and burned it to a cd-r and dvd+r. Both at low speed and on high quality media that I know works with my other backups. I have no luck after 15 coasters to get the dvdloader to work. I have read through all the threads and tried everything possible. I also read that I could not use the Swap Magic 3.0 CD because I have a V.9 or V10 PS2. All I get is the red bar around the screen. Can someone please help me.
I am trying to play hitman:contracts on dvd+r. I'm using Swap Magic DVD Version 2.0,->eject,->dvdloader,
->DVD+R backup. Can someone please tell me if they have had success with this.

First of all, dvd loader needs to be burned to dvd (hence the name dvd loader). Secondly, you are not doing it right.
1. swap magic dvd
2. dvd loader via fliptop or slide card
3. eject, put swap magic dvd back in
4. let it read, then hit x
5. insert hitman via fliptop or slide card
V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader
Pioneer 107, ritek g05
DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, Nero |

You know, that version of dvdloader (b52) doesnt even work for me. It just freezes. However, dvdloader7all and oflsan's dvdloader do work. Has anyone else tested it? I'm using a PS2 v9 fliptop.

hey sly, after i load the swap magic dvd , then i open the fliptop up and load the dvd loader and then i press x, the pink boarder pops up. am i doing something wrong here?
im using the dvdloaderv7_b52 by the way

what media did you use and how fast did you burn at?
V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader

Same problem for me, I am trying to play a CD-R backup game using Swap Magic DVD and a working version of DVD Loader v.7all (cuz I lost my Swap Magic CD)
I tried the following with NO success:
- boot up SM DVD
- Load DVD Loader disc (using fliptop/swap) - note: DVD loader disc loads to main screen and spins fast, non stop
- Press Eject and load-up SM DVD again
- at "insert disc" screen - (using fliptop/swap), I swap with the CD-R copy
:( NO SUCCESS - CD-R doesn't load!!!
I am using PS2 version 9 (model 50010)!
AM I DOING THIS CORRECTLY!!

CORRECTION -
step 4 above in my previous post should read
- at insert DVD-R screen (on the DVD Loader menu)
NOT - at "insert disc" screen - (using fliptop/swap), I swap with the CD-R copy

well, to load a cd you can't use the swap magic dvd to refresh the toc. You need to hit eject and put in an original ps2 cd based game.
V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader

Thanks sly_61019. Hitman Contracts works fine. Now I'm having trouble with Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow. Using same method. Any advise?

u guys talking about how to load DVD-R games!
now me i have probleme loading CD-R games !
i have DVDloader and CDloader- no fliptop PS2 -
PS2 v4 or v5 ! swapmagicDVD 2.0 and swapCD 3.0
what should i do ! ? can somebody help plz !??!

use the boot magic CD till it gets to the LOAD Program screen. Eject the bm cd and put in a BLUE back cd type game. once you got that game in there it will say REFRESH TOC. now the only way for you to put your backup in is either through slider OR fliptop. there is no other way i know of.
I just got this thing down pack today. likewise for dvds SILVER backed type games you would need to boot with the bm DVD till it gets to the screen insert disc. then u need either fliptop or slider to get the bm out and your backup in.

??? slider ?? u mean i press the blue button ?
if the " slider " is a tool that u put in the PS2 - i don't have it either ! i have nothing accept the Swapmagic dvd and cd and the dvd&cdloaders

man !!! i don't know whats the probleme, but still doesn't work !

you must have a slide card (which you can make, do a search) or a fliptop to use swap magic.
