Darned Sony DRU-530A with Nero??? Anyone????

Problems
1.Burning in nero, it shows only 92% cache usage....
NEVER rises above 92%....

2. Any discs that I finalize (in nero AND recordnow), will NOT read in ANY other dvd player (xbox, home dvd player, other dvd-rom...) It does read fine in the burner however, and doesn't pick up any media problems..
I'm using Ritek G04's (matte top) with the newest sony firmware... (2.1a)
(reinstalled aspi, redid the sony firmware, reinstalled nero..)

anybody else experiencing this??
This drive seems to suck...
(previously had a pioneer a05 that I burned over 800 dvd's with..)
