I looked aronud this forum and saw no one else with this problem so I am hoping you all know what you are tlaking about on this one:) cause i really need hlep, i want to play my games...if you don't know the Disc Read Error problem is when the PS2 won't read games it reads cds(PS1 games) but it won't read DVDs (PS2 games) can someone please help me out here?

assuming your talking about orignal games here disc read errors(dre) are usualy caused when the laser is struggling to read the disc
reason 1 the laser in your ps2 is dying you can try adjusting it
reason 2 the laser in your ps2 is dirty you can try cleaning it
reason 3 the disc is dirty try cleaning the disc
reason 4 the disc is badly scratched/damaged try a cd repair kit
