DVDLab Pro Beta - subtitles in IFO?

I'm evaluating the MediaChance DVD-Lab Pro beta which inclides soem tools for creating subpictures out of text files. I'm using a nifty tool that extracts line 21 closed captioning from recorded programs (Hauppauge WinTV PVR-250 can record line21 data with a registry hack) and so I've been able to record movies and programs and add subtitles to them from extracted line21 data.

Well and groovy, and this beta version is quite promising... it allowed me to import the extracted line21 data and made a subtitle, and let me activate it through a menu option to turn subtitles on or off, and that works, but the remote control Subtitles button does not work. I'm baffled becuase the Audio buttons on the remote DO toggle between the audio teacks (I've got one MP2 track and one LPCM track, in case set top players can't play one or the other).

SO MY QUESTION, finally...

Does someone know where in the IFO files I would go to find where the remote can't turn the subtitles on and off, even if the menus can?
