the error failed to set write parameters with matshita drives was suposed to have been fixed in the latest version 3.2.2.0 but guess its not as fixed as they thought and you say your having problems with alcohol aswell so it looks like Nero is your only option to burn your iso which version of Nero are you using?

well with Nero you have two options you can use Nero express and click on the disc image or saved project button in the next window click on the file types arrow and select image files(.nrg,.iso,.cue) browse to were the image file is saved click it click open select write speed click next and away you go or load up Nero and close the new complation window go to recorder (4th one along) select burn image, select image files from the file types menu(.nrg,.iso,.cue) browse to were the image is stored select it,select open, set write speed, make sure finalise is ticked click burn

whoops i shouls have mentioned i got a box popped up with foriegn image settings as its title.
Also what about the other files there where three files generated vc I00, I01, & an mds file? I only selected one from here to get Nero to say foriegn.....
And I have also been procuring aid from a froum like this for dvd decrtyper and their expert said I could not burn to a dvd coz It was recognizing that that file should only be written to a cd. So then ive asked him how I can write this file becoz its over 800 mgs.. still awaiting a reply but Idont think they are as quick as you guys!
Cheers anyway for all your help :)

when you load the iso file all that info should already be built into the iso so you should not have to alter any settings just select the write speed and make sure that finalise is ticked before you click burn and if you dont want to go that way just put your orignal game disc back in and use the disc to disc copy option

because your using a fat 32 file system thats why your getting split images because the image file size exceeds the max file size that can be handled by your pc file system to avoid split images you need to be using win xp/2000/nt and convert to a ntfs file system this can be done without formating but is a one way change(you can not convert back to fat 32 without formating)if you are using win 98/me etc then you are stuck with fat 32 and the only thing i can suggest is you try using the disc to disc copy function in Nero
