I have some big problems trying to do this. before I start, let me say that I am going by this guide http://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=222005&highlight=ogm

That being said, my first snag is when i use gspot, it always says that I dont have this (ogg_vorbis_1 (0x674f) Ogg Vorbis) codec, even when I have installed the exe from this site (http://www.vorbis.com/files/1.0/tobias/OggDS0995.exe )..The next part may be due to that, but when I try to use the renamed ogm file in Tmpgenc, it fails to recognize it and states that it cannot open or is unsupported.
If someone could help me with this, that would be great. BTW, if you are wondering why I'm trying to do this it is ultimately to use the avi and burn it on a dvd with nero, thanks

I took a look at the guide you provided. Seems to me that an OGM file may be a downloaded file.

I'm having exactly the same problem. I've tried everything (codecs, TMPEG environmental settings etc.) Hopefully someone can help with this.

A reinstall of TMPGEnc may help as well as reinstalling the codec in question.

hmmmmmmm, that's not helping, anyone else have a suggestion, or possibly another way to convert ogm into a Nero accepted video file?

OK, here's what I did and it seemed to work fine.

Open VirtualDubMod, open the .ogm file in it (no need to rename to .avi). Click 'Video', 'Full Processing Mode'. Check Compression (on the video menu) and make sure it's set to none. Save-As and save the file as an .AVI. This becomes your video source for TMPGEnc. Now follow the intructions in the guide you are using to extract audio etc.

See if that works for you. ogm files are a real pain in the arse. =/

Yeah thanks, it works now, although I had to use a compressor because for some reason the AVI would of taken like 30,000 megs on my harddrive
