hey i am new to backing up ps2 games i have just recently bought a dvd-+r and rw 8x burner and a flip top and swap magic and dvd+r blank disks and i use the program dvd decrypter and was wondering after i use iso-read and decrtypt it to my computer should i delete it because i think it is taking up a lot of my hard drive like 1.6 gig i just burned tom clancys splinter cell pandora tommorro i am just backing up my games because my friends and family seem to ruin my disks and also can i use dvd decryptor and dvd burner for all games even if they are a cd backup or would i have to use a differnt program and my cd burner and one more thing are all new games coming out all going to be dvd bakcups thanks a lot for your help

once you have a working backup of your game then yes delete your image file or you will quickly run out of space.Most of the new release games are now on dvd disc and as for cd backups i would recomend you use either clone cd or alcohol 120%

ok thanks so much one more question though if I use clone cd for the backups do I have to use a cd-r or can i use dvd+r and how do i know which games are dvd backups and which are cd backups

you use cdr for backups of cd based games and dvdr for backups of dvd based games your other questions i have just answered in your other post
