if I use clone cd for the backups do I have to use a cd-r or can i use dvd+r and how do i know which games are dvd backups and which are cd backups
and i saw clone cd was not a free program i have nero oem which was included with my mad dog external dvd burner i was wondering if that would work?? thanks for all of your help

clone cd is only good for creating cd based backups it wont work for creating dvd backups but Nero should be able to do those,but you could always download DVD Decrypter (free download)and use the iso read/write mode for your dvd backups if your not happy with Nero.If you look on the back of the case the orignal came in it says dvd rom for dvd based games and cd rom for cd based games it also says either dvd rom or cd rom on the top of the orignal disc if all else fails then if you turn a orignal ps2 game disc over then usualy if its a silver colour then its a dvd5 based game if its a gold colour then its a dvd9 based game and if its dark blue/purple then its a cd based game
