Poineer DVDR 107 Flash Update Problem

I am trying to flash update a recently installed Pioneer 107D DVDR drive on my Dell PC. My current revision is 1.05 and all attempts to get to 1.16 appear to fail. The most common message I receive when using Firmware Update Utility Ver 1.89A is 'Available Target is not found'. Anyone with any good ideas to resolving this issue would be much appreciated.
