I was wondering if this is a good place to buy a DMS3 chip for my ps2. http://www.chipinstalls.com/cat/product_info.php?products_id=33&osCsid=88be5bff215583fd23114d9e9f2d3c32 I'm only asking because they have the cheapest price for a DMS3 on the net, and usually places with really cheap prices aren't that good.

Go to either http://foundmy.com or http://modchipman.com to buy a DMS3v9. The prices are about the same and they are sites I have personally used and have always shipped fast.

I dont need a DMS3 v9, I have a v7 ps2, v9 won't work in my ps2.

But at modchipman it says, DMS3 chip is OUT OF STOCK. WE WILL NOT BE GETTING ANYMORE V2. And at foundmy, i dont see DMS3.

Ok, I know why too. I think Foundmy is under fire from Sony about the HD loader. In case you didn't know Sony has issued cease and desist letters to quite a few retailers of the product. And as for Modchipman, I think they are waiting for the new DMS3 plus to come out. The plus version works on all version ps2's and has a smaller wire count. 18 I think. The only other reliable site I know of and have experience with that sells them in http://gameshopusa.com they cost $48.99 there.
