I just bought a NEC 2510 Dual Layer DVD drive to use along with "DVD Shrink." With dual layer DVD+Rs can I use "DVD Shrink" to back up my dual layer DVD movies. If so how? I believe it may have something to do with the compression setting, but I am not sure. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

If you do.. select no compression. Or you can just use DVD Decrypter.

Also, have you found and/or bought DL media yet?

No I haven't bought any dual layer DVD+Rs yet. I did find some on the internet. They were $8.99 each. A little too expensive for me. I will wait until the price drops.
