I was wondering if anybody knows where to buy HD Loader in American Dollars for a cheap price. Also I wanted to hear from someone who actually has it if it works as well as people have said. Does the HD Loader disc itself load 100% of the time unlike the SwapMagic CD Disc. Also one question I haven't read yet, Do the games ever freeze like when it's loading or anything. Thank you.

Try eBay for a cheap HDloader

I have it and MOST games work there is only a few games which dont work (dual-layered discs + a few others) and you cant play games online. When you play a game off the hard-disc the only difference is that there is alot FASTER loading times! The games dont freeze!

To bailsk8er, If you have a modchip, I know you can download a copy of HD loader at www.suprnova.org, get the torrent and extract and burn as an image and you'll have the full HD loader program, and I have the HD loader and its great. I like it better than running backups. The loading time is much faster and hasn't froze on me once. It's a good investment if your looking to buy it.

so if I have a real PS2 game i still cant go online.

No, you can go online with the real disc in your ps2. It just means it probably wouldn't be worth loading that particular game onto your HDD as you wouldn't be getting much use out of it except for when you wanted to play offline.

I got HDLOader and i'm very happy with it. But one prob. It doesn't loade as fast as everyone says it does it kind of loads half way, pause, then continues loading. Am I doing something wrong?
