Hi,

I just got a new Sony VAIO laptop and it has the above DVD-RW drive built in. As the first thing I need to make it Region Free so I can watch all my DVD's on it, but I couldn't find any information on firmware for this drive anywhere.

Does anyone know this drive, and which firmware it will use?

These programs will disable any css encryption and region free codes ... but cost $$
